To be honest I was unsure whether an Indian in Tenerife was a good idea but I’d had fish and ‘those’ potatoes three days in a row and thus far I’d say don’t expect a tuna steak to come as it does in the UK.

Anyway back to the Indian… it is right opposite the music coming out of O’Neill’s and I was planning on watching the football so the Indian was close, would have atmosphere, has a lovely balcony and so… in I went.

The menu is varied and caters for meat eaters, fish eaters and us veggies with paneer and a soy substitute which I had.

I had a Madras spicy main Khalahi?? And asked for a starter portion of the bhindi bahji which they duly obliged plus a peshwari naan and an alcohol free beer (yup I’m the life and soul of any party!)

This all followed the Chaat starter.

Everything was delicious. Heat was just right.
Service was warm and friendly (obviously, else would I be writing this review?).

They were even happy to charge my battery for me … and to top it all a baileys on the house, though to be fair that was offered after I started scanning the qr code to do this review.

To sum up? If you fancy an Indian don’t hesitate to choose Punjabi Junction

Comida fantástica, servicio educado, agradable y profesional, limpieza 10/10, sabor 10/10. Estoy encantada. Muy recomendable si estás harto de la comida mediocre de la costa.

This is a really good northern indian restaurant which deserves a visit and will not disappoint.
Classic Indian dishes executed very well. And there is clearly a good chef in the kitchen
Prab and his team front of house provided a gracious welcome, attentive service and a real feeling of warm hospitality.
